This citrus orchard is believed to have been established 150 years ago.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWhy is this Limoncello so important? The lemons are what you might call \"ugly.\" Yes, they vary in size and look somewhat strange.\u003cbr\u003e Unfortunately, this meant that supermarkets weren't interested in buying them.\u003cbr\u003e After years of trying to sell these ugly little lemons, the growers were planning to remove the 150-year-old trees.\u003cbr\u003e To preserve this historic orchard, Applewood Distillery stepped in and promised to buy the entire harvest to produce this delicious Limoncello.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt's a labor of love. Literally!
