As Ngurunderi paddled his canoe down the Murray River hunting the big Murray Cod he created the Murray River, the Lakes and everything in Ngarrindjeri country.
He also created the Ngarrindjeri people who live on the Murray River, the Lakes and the Coorong. He taught all the lore, dances, songs and all they needed to survive and to manage their daily lives.
This painting was created during a development workshop with Better World Arts, supported by Arts SA.
Cedric experimented with paint and line to progress his style into a bold and flowing expression, bursting with life and passion.
