Julie tells the story of two sisters travelling through their mother's country towards Docker River in the Northern Territory.

They stopped at Ilkuwaratjara and cut a Wana (digging stick). The Punu (wood) was really straight. The little sister got homesick, but the older sister said, "No, I'll take you to your family."

Along the way, they dug for Kuka (meat, e.g., from goannas) and Niny (bilby). They found Kuka and were happy about the good meal. The U-shapes represent the sisters.

Next to them are their Wana or digging sticks.
The circles symbolize rocks or waterholes where water collects after rain.
