Husk Distillers Australian Ink Sloe & Berry Gin Liqueur is an antipodal take on the classic English sloe gin recipe.
The base gin was distilled with some of the key ingredients of Ink Gin:
- Juniper berries, coriander, angelica, and liquorice root
The flavor profile is further developed by a tart infusion of sloe berries (which are actually a fruit) and balanced by an explosion of sweet red berries.
The final ingredient in Ink Sloe and Berry Gin Liqueur is Australian rosella flowers. Rosella flowers grow wild on the edge of the tropical rainforest in northern Australia and are a type of hibiscus blossom.
They have a vibrant color and a crisp, tart taste that balances the sweeter botanicals in Sloe & Berry.
Ink Sloe & Berry has the traditional sloe gin alcohol content of 26% and is a refreshing, lower-strength "drink less - enjoy more" option - perfect for sipping over ice.
