Galway Pipe is named after Governor Sir Henry Galway, Governor of South Australia from 1914 to 1920.

The Journey:
Premium bourbon from Indiana arrived on the coast in 190-litre American oak barrels. While decanting the bourbon, we filled the barrels with select Grand Australian Tawny. Following a maturation period of at least 6 months, our experienced team ensured perfect flavour harmony through regular tastings every two weeks. This outstanding addition expands our exclusive Tawny portfolio and is an exquisite invitation to all who wish to discover the multi-faceted world of bourbon.

The Taste:
Complex flavours on the palate such as caramel, vanilla, fruit cake, and an abundance of sweet spice notes. The small barrel format has a profound influence and enhances the character of the Tawny with exotic bourbon notes: A delicate interplay of charred wood, rye, and toasted malt aromas unfolds and weaves harmoniously with the essence of the Tawny into a perfect unity. On the palate, the wine exhibits high sweetness, complemented by a relatively low pH value and thus a pleasant, fresh acidity.

The Identity:
Produced in a limited edition, only 60 barrels of this unique fusion were created.
