Galway Pipe is named after Sir Henry Galway, Governor of South Australia from 1914 to 1920.
Our winemaking team has carefully selected the finest and most unique parcels of a 12-year-old Tawny. These were then aged for a further 3 years in Australian Beenleigh casks that previously held rum.
The result is our 15-year-old Tawny with magnificent aromas that speak to its time in the rum barrel. A harmonious rum character imparts notes of sweet spices such as coconut, clove, and vanilla. This is complemented by a flavor of toasted nuts and Christmas cake with a molasses character that finishes with a warming richness on the palate.
The decorative label pattern is a tribute to Sir Henry Galway's military uniform and symbolizes his legacy of high standards for superior quality. Carefully selected parcels, aged for three years in Australian Beenleigh rum casks.
