The Whisky Barrel Gin from Kangaroo Island Spirits (KIS) was aged for two months in whisky barrels previously used for an Australian single malt whisky.
This gin has a vanilla and zesty nose.
It offers a light smoke and citrus aroma with a buttery finish on the palate.
KIS recommends enjoying this gin neat or trying it in a cocktail with orange bitters and fresh apple.
KIS is one of Australia's first gin distilleries, founded on Kangaroo Island.
Since then, the distillery has built a reputation as one of the best gin distilleries in Australia, winning numerous awards at the world's top competitions, including the International Wine and Spirits Competition in London and the SIP Awards in California.
Tasting Notes:
