This exceptional Classic Cask, distilled in locally crafted copper pot stills, is the flagship of the Lark Distillery. This whisky is best described as a complex blend of vanilla, caramel, and maple syrup, with subtly spicy, floral notes and gentle hints of fresh pepper on a spicy, lingering finish.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Golden syrup and vanilla with hints of orange and grapefruit. Plum pudding, Christmas cake, cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, and a touch of Tasmanian peat smoke.
Palate: Sweet vanilla transforms into an intoxicating combination of orange peel, butterscotch, cloves, nutmeg, and grapefruit.
Finish: Butterscotch and citrus notes with a long, satisfying smoky finish.
Serving suggestion: Excellent neat or with a drop or two of filtered water.
