Tips for the burning behavior of our candles for a long-lasting and efficient use:

Step 1 - Trim the wick:
Before lighting the candle for the first time, the wick length must be checked.
Since our candles are handmade, this can always vary.
If necessary, the wick should be shortened to approx. 0.5 to 1 cm.
This length should be maintained during further burning to ensure the best possible burning behavior.

Step 2 - Initial burn time:
Our candles are made of 100% vegetable stearin and require an initial burn-in time when first lit.
The top layer must completely liquefy, which can take 4-6 hours, to avoid tunneling.
